Sri Lanka Reconciliation Movement

shared roots, diverse stories

Welcome

To Our Projects

Easter Attack Survivors Project

The Easter Attack Survivors Project (EASP) was how we began. EASP is a platform to memorialize the precious lives we lost, as well as those that survived the tragic Easter attack of 2019.

Via advocacy through story-sharing, we raise awareness of the survivor community, and contribute to reconciliation and peacebuilding efforts in Sri Lanka.

Interfaith workshops & Discussions

Our workshops cover a range of topics within the peacebuilding and reconciliation arena.

We educate audiences on violent extremism and means of prevention and provide recommended actions for educators in pre and post conflict situations. We teach about the power of story sharing, and bring interfaith education in practice to life, dispel myths on religion, and create awareness on the role of language, IT, and media in peacebuilding.

The way the topics were approached with continuous interaction with the participants, and the solutions proposed were innovative.
