About Us

The dream we believe in & the team we're building

When communities view each other as separate teams, we inadvertently put ourselves against each other. A future where all Sri Lankans are empowered – through dialogue and reconciliation – to proudly view themselves as Sri Lankans, is a future where we can together reach greater heights.

The Sri Lanka Reconciliation Movement (SLRM) was established to set the stage for Sri Lanka’s transformation through reconciliation. The first project executed by the SLRM is the Easter Attack Survivors Project (EASP), which focused on communal healing through sharing and receiving stories from the innocent victims of the Easter Attack which left Sri Lanka wounded in many aspects.

Our Vision

Our Vision is to create a future of peace and unity without divisions based on race, religion, and ethnicity; whilst preserving the cultural diversity of Sri Lanka.

Our Mission

Our Mission is to spread awareness and encourage communication to develop mutual understanding between the diverse communities in Sri Lanka regarding the significance of co-existence.
